Tie One On

Good morning all,
Another cold and snowy day here in Wisconsin! I just had a gal in yesterday looking for some winter gear and informed me there was not much to be found. No worries! We will continue to carry a selection hats, scarves and mittens as long as the snow flies.

I finished my last purse for an order going to California yesterday. My Greenpurse Tie One On bags have been the most popular in that region and we are hoping it spreads east. We have several in the studio at this time with more to come. Thank you Summer and Carla! Happy, happy week!

Leather Bowl

Good morning all,
When developing a new product, it is always time consuming. I like to think it through, make a pattern and jot down the steps as I move forward. Many times the end product is not what I envisioned, and the process starts all over.
It was my goal yesterday to get a few new creations made. We were so busy again I only got to a couple and this one. Not complicated, but cute! I started out small and simple and already have some new, better ideas for improvement, so you'll need to stay tuned! Much more to come.
Happy, happy week!

The Revival

Good morning all,
Thanks to everyone who stopped yesterday for our photo book event. It was interesting and we were very busy!
Today's post is about the revival of a purse I designed for QVC way back in 2008.  I submitted them, but being a one man show at that time, could not meet the quantities. Therefore, they never reached the market. As always, we try not to waste and we do have lots of sweater scraps, therefore, we are again once offering our Greenpurse sweater bags in the studio! Fully lined with an interior pocket and of course zipper closure. Stop by and see our great selection of one of a kind products. Happy, happy week!

New Year, New Style

Good morning all,
Three things for today's post. Saturday January 11, 2014 photographers from Lisa Lehman's photo book: Lake Michigan, The Wisconsin Shore will be on hand to talk photography and sign books.
10-2.
In this new year as promised there are some changes coming to the store. Certainly not a new concept, I've been making mittens from old sweaters for more than two decades. We now are offering wool and leather fleece lined mittens. Unlike the wool ones from last year, these can be used for shoveling as well as for warmth and fashion! We will also create matching hats and headbands when possible. Stay tuned!
Lastly, we are closed Monday January 6, 2014 for the safety of our customers and staff. Happy, happy week and Go Pack!!!
