Mommy Apron's

Hi Everybody,

As promised, today's post features what I call Mommy Apron's. This Terry cloth apron keeps you dry while bathing your child and because it is made from a full size towel, allows you to use the bottom portion to scoop up and dry you little bundle of joy! I sent one to my daughter who just five days ago had their first child and she said it would also be great for giving their dogs a bath. Excellent idea! Don't forget to look for me and the Crabby Cobbler in the 4th of July parade!

Summer Poncho

Hi Everybody,

My sister-in-law, friend and employee loves ponchos (so do I!). She purchased some fabric and had me make her a few. Pictured is one done a couple weeks ago. Working on the last two today and hopefully a couple more Mommy aprons ( which I hope post next week). We will again be in the 4th of July parade where you can see the Zipper Queen tame the Crabby Cobbler. Happy, happy week!

Done

Hi Everybody,

The work room is done! It is so nice and we all love it. We also just invested in a steamer and for a few extra dollars you can have the garment we alter or repaired steamed as well! So please ask anyone of our staff for more information. Happy, happy week!

Renovation

Hi Everybody,

After over three years in business, I'm finally biting the bullet and renovating our work room. My employees are so awesome they deserve a pleasant area in which to work. (My customers are awesome too!) Once complete, that should be it for a long time! Next week I'll post the after photo, so stay tuned! Happy, happy week!

Jeans Placemats

Hi Everybody,

A customer and friend gave me several projects to make from her husbands clothes. One of which was placemats made from his jeans. Not having lost a spouse, I cannot know what that feels like, but I do know from other deaths that just simply getting rid of their stuff is difficult. Creating usable items from some of their possessions is not only a reminder of the love you had, but comforting having something of theirs near. It has helped her with the healing process and she feels after several years of grieving has rounded the corner. We have done this many times for people and when presented, all are teary eyed, emotional and grateful. Next week, using old wooden spools. Happy, happy week'

New Cush Covers
