Sweater Headband

Hi everybody!

I am clearly on a sweater kick! I was commissioned last week to make a headband to match a pair of mittens I made the week before. I did not have enough of the the orange sweater, so had to add other colors to make up the deficit. Next week I hope to be on to another project that doesn't involve a sweater, but hey, you never know what inspiration may come my way! (Kinda hard to take selfies with an iPad! You need two hands!)

Sweater Scarf

Hi everybody!

As busy as we have been over the last few months, I still manage to keep Saturday's as what I refer to as my "goof off day". About five years ago I made a quilt using wool scraps. It turned out really cool and I have always wanted to make another. Not having a lot of time to commit to such an undertaking, I decided to scale it down and make a scarf. I was very tempted to keep it for myself, but resisted. Very fashionable and super warm, only $40. Our winter gear is flying off the shelf, and today I hope to get at least a few mittens done. Sweater Bag

Hi Everybody!

At it's inception, Greenpurse had a line of five purses, one being The Possible Bag and another The Sweater Bag. Pictured is a combination of the two. My oldest daughter requested one last week and it being her birthday December 18th, I got right to it. Happy Birthday Holly! Happy, happy week and Go Pack!

Today's post is a reminder to all that we can create one of a kind custom pieces made from your sentimental items. Pictured is a frame made for a customers mother from her grandfathers sweatshirt. We also created two tree skirts, scarf and four pillows from her grandmothers beautifully crocheted table clothes and blanket. As always, happy, happy week and Go Pack!
