In the early eighties when my family was young (so was I), we didn't have a lot of money for extras so most of the things I had, I made (perhaps one of the first Do-it-Yourselfers?). I continue to be a DIYer and most of my creations come from rescued materials. Big plans for today! Redo two bird houses from the east side of the store (pictured), drum footstool, zipper planter and stick birdhouse. How busy I am will determine how much I achieve.
