A customer and friend gave me several projects to make from her husbands clothes. One of which was placemats made from his jeans. Not having lost a spouse, I cannot know what that feels like, but I do know from other deaths that just simply getting rid of their stuff is difficult. Creating usable items from some of their possessions is not only a reminder of the love you had, but comforting having something of theirs near. It has helped her with the healing process and she feels after several years of grieving has rounded the corner. We have done this many times for people and when presented, all are teary eyed, emotional and grateful. Next week, using old wooden spools. Happy, happy week'
